Staff at the Sheffield branch of Leeds Building Society have put unwanted clothes to good use, by donating their old uniforms to support the British Heart Foundation.
Around 400 staff from the society’s branches donated more than 4,000 garments which will be sold in British Heart Foundation shops.
BHF area manager Mavis Dillon said: “We’re so pleased Leeds Building Society chose to donate their uniforms to the BHF.
“Many of the items are of a saleable quality and we hope this activity will also encourage the staff to continue to donate their unwanted items to the nation’s heart charity.”
Tori Cherowbrier the building society’s Sheffield branch manager said: “We are very pleased BHF agreed to accept the items and hope they will help raise funds.”
