Verges are looking blooming marvellous around a Sheffield neighbourhood after spring flower bulbs created a colourful show.
A team of volunteers from environmental organisation Green Estate planted the display around the new Wincobank Village Hall, which is currently being developed.
Dan Cornwell, from Green Estate, said: “This site is part of an ongoing research project into meadow planting as an alternative planting to mown grass.
“All the bulbs will come back each year and increase in numbers.”
Wincobank community volunteer Bridget Ingle said: “Many residents have commented on how beautiful they look.”
