SPORTS fans who took part in an activity scheme have been rewarded for their efforts with tickets for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
More than 50 people who took part in the Sportivate scheme have been given free passes for events at London 2012.
Sportivate participants, all aged 14 to 25, were eligible for tickets by completing a sports course, missing no more than one session, and then continuing for at least three months afterwards.
Meanwhile, people who organised or led activities in their local community for over 10 hours were also offered passes.
The free tickets were handed out through an initiative called Ticketshare, set up to improve access to the Olympics and Paralympics.
