Sheffield city centre officers were today patrolling the High Street and Fargate areas in response to concerns from residents and businesses regarding Spice use and dealing in the area.
While on patrol, officers stopped and searched a man who was 'acting suspiciously', and subsequently seized a quantity of suspected spice, mobile phones and prescribed medication.
The man was subsequently interviewed by officers and reported on summons for drugs offences.
