Speeding motorist arrested for drink driving on Sheffield Parkway

A motorist was arrested for drink driving on the Parkway in Sheffield overnight.

The man was stopped by police for speeding and erratic driving.

He later failed a roadside breath test.

South Yorkshire Police Operational Support tweeted: "It turns out the arrested person is also on licence for previous offences

" Due to this he will now be kept in our cells until Monday morning to be put before the next available court."

Police also arrested another two drink drivers and a drug driver overnight in South Yorkshire.
