Specialist's a spin doctor
A SOUTH Yorkshire medical specialist swapped the operating theatre for international sporting arena to record a stunning hat-trick of gold medals.
Rotherham Hospital urologist Dr Abhi Darshane picked up his other specialist instrument - the table tennis bat.
He recorded stunning victories in the 2007 World Medical Games in Agadir, Morocco. He won gold medals in two categories and the overall title for table tennis, and a silver medal.

Hide AdHe said: “I thought it might be possible to win my age category in the singles but knew it would be really difficult to win the overall open title. This was the third year I have been to the World Medical Games.”
