Spanish or English?

Please, please JD Arnold destroy your bluebell bulbs, do not give them away.

Because they are profuse and you are having to dig them up points to them being Spanish bluebells which are having an adverse affect on our native ones.

I do not know of the exact way of telling but if they have erect heads, as opposed to the slightly nodding head of English ones, a sturdy stem and are very deep-rooted there is a 99 per cent chance they are Spanish.
