Hundreds of young people from churches across South Yorkshire are set to gather in Sheffield for a day aimed at helping them discover God.
The Breathe Deep event on Saturday, January 25, is to be held at the Philadelphia Centre, Gilpin Street, Upperthorpe.
Bishop of Sheffield Dr Steven Croft will be speaking at the event encouraging the 11- to 18-year-olds to see God in each other and in the world around them.
Different workshops are planned aimed at encouraging the youngsters to think deeper, before an afternoon of games.
There will be prizes, competitions and time for the young people to chat to youngsters from other churches.
Organiser Mike North said: “This is the first Breathe Deep day the diocese has hosted and we hope it will become an important annual event for young people to gather together to be encouraged and inspired.
“We have had a wonderful team of youth workers from around the diocese to put this day together, and we’re excited to see what fruit will come out of it.”
