South Yorkshire wildlife trust holds reserves meetings

Wildlife lovers interested in getting involved in the management of their local nature reserves are invited to a series of meetings.

The Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham is holding the Reserve Advisory Group meetings during January and February and members of the public are invited.

Meetings are being held for Crabtree Ponds, Sunnybank, Wyming Brook/Fox Hagg, and Carr House Meadows nature reserves.

Plans for the future will be discussed, as well as forthcoming events and community workdays.

The Sunnybank nature reserve meeting is at the Broomhall Centre, Broomspring Lane, Broomhall, on Thursday, January 23, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Wyming Brook and Fox Hagg will be discussed on Thursday, February 6, from 7pm to 9pm at St Luke’s Church, Blackbrook Road, Lodge Moor.

Discussions about Carr House Meadows in Wharncliffe Side are at Wharncliffe Side Community Centre, Brightholmlee Lane, on Thursday, February 13, from 7pm until 9pm.
