COULD you help socialise a puppy?
If so, Support Dogs would like to hear from you as the organisation needs to fill an urgent gap.
Jane Foster, fundraiser for Support Dogs, said: “The latest puppies are due to arrive on May 22 so we don’t have a lot of time to find the right replacement.
“The new programme is a first for the charity because the new animals have been bred for disability assistance purposes; previously it has been mostly rescue dogs or unwanted pets at least 12 months old that have been trained.
“We want people to introduce the puppy to a wide range of social situations. In return, we will pay for dog food, all vet bills and the cost of worming and flea treatments.”
