South Yorkshire snubbed in list

Have your say

SOUTH Yorkshire has been snubbed on a list of the best places to live in Britain.

Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and surrounding areas all failed to make the Top 10 Sunday Times Best Places to Live for Yorkshire and the North East.

Derbyshire also failed to make the grade in the list.

In the rundown, due to be published tomorrow and the following week, Harrogate, York and Richmond came out on top.

Gosforth and Ponteland in Newcastle upon Tyne also made the top 10.

The list has been edited by Sunday Times associate editor and broadcaster Eleanor Mills.
