South Yorkshire Police continue crackdown on drugs
South Yorkshire Police have continued to crackdown on the use of drugs in the city following a successful day of action in the Fox Hill area.
Sheffield North East Neighbourhood Policing Unit took to Facebook to tell of another success story in the Burngreave area of the city.
Alongside a photo of cannabis that officers had seized from a male, the force wrote: "The Burngreave team taking it from the streets.
"Some people are under the misconception that Cannabis is legal.
"It is a controlled drug and is categorised as Class B under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971."
They added: "Another male with Cannabis added to his record. If you cultivate it, sell it or possess it you may find yourself under lock and key."
