South Yorkshire man robbed at knifepoint

A MAN aged 24 was robbed at knifepoint by two thugs who stole his money and his bank card.

The victim was walking along a path when two men approached him and asked him the time.

When the man said he didn’t have his phone, one of the robbers produced a knife and told the man to empty his pockets. He handed over cash and his card and the men fled.

The robber with the knife was white, slim, around 6ft 2ins, aged between 25 and 35 with a scab on his cheek. He wore glasses, a dark hoodie and faded blue jeans.

The second man was white, around 5ft 4ins, in his mid 20s and of medium build. He also wore a dark hoodie.

Call 101 with information about the robbery between Inkersall Green Road and Cromford Drive, Chesterfield, at 12.30am on August 23.
