South Yorkshire homes hit by power cut
Dozens of homes in South Yorkshire have been hit by a power cut this evening.
53 homes in the Kimberworth area of Rotherham were hit by a power cut at around 4.20pm this evening.
A spokesman for Northern Powergrid confirmed that an engineer arrived on the scene at 5.20pm.
Power was restored at around 6pm, after a number of substation fuses were replaced.
