A PERVERT has been sent back to prison for flashing at little girls - only weeks after being released from a 12-month jail term for possessing extreme porn.

Stephen Jackson, aged 51, was living back home with his mother when he stood naked at an upstairs window, in full view of two little girls.

No action was taken against him - but eight months later he did a similar thing again.

When police got involved and searched his home a computer was found with 14,350 indecent images of children, 99 graded at the highest level of indecency.

Jackson was bailed - and within weeks followed two seven-year-old girls in the street, exposing himself to them as they played.

One of the girls told her father who, along with two public-spirited neighbours, made a citizen’s arrest.

Jackson, of Sheffield Road, Penistone, admitted indecent exposure, making indecent images of children and breaching a Sex Offenders’ Registration Order.

Danny Simpson, defending, said nobody was more anxious than Jackson to cure himself of a problem which had surfaced only later in life.

Jailing Jackson for four years, Judge Michael Murphy told him: “One of the girls said she was freaked out, depressed and disgusted by what they saw.”

There had been outrage in the local community and the children had been put at risk.

He said hopefully a jail term would lead to treatment for Jackson, adding: “There must be something done to address this sort of behaviour before it escalates.”

Jackson was given 12 months for the indecent exposures, 18 months for breaching the order and another 18 months for making indecent images, all to run consecutively.

He was given a new Sex Offenders’ Prevention Order, told to sign on the Sex Offenders’ Register and banned from working with children.
