South Yorkshire communities urged to apply for grants to hold Armed Forces Day celebrations
South Yorkshire communities are being urged to apply for up to £10,000 to fund Armed Forces Day celebrations.
The Ministry of Defence is offering the grants for events to be held on Saturday, June 25 to say thank you to those in the armed forces.
Last year more than 170 Armed Forces Day celebrations were held across the country.
