Some kind of fortress
What was the point in having buildings like Sheffield Cathedral railed off as though it was some kind of fortress where the public were not to trespass?
The purpose of having a majestic church is to invite people in their hour of need and to feel wanted.
The recent renovations are nothing short of superb. The public can relax in the grounds or take in the exquisite interior. Sheffield Cathedral is well worth a visit.
