Soldiers through the ages battle

Have your say

After reading a letter from Ron Clayton, I would like to inform readers that Soldiers Through the Ages, the huge re-enactment, formerly at the Sheffield Fayre each August bank holiday until it was decided to cut it from the council events list, has been saved.

There will be five hours of non-stop battles and re-enactment from all over England, including full living history from the 13th century to World War Two, including Sheffield’s very own knights in battle and Escafeld at the Lowedges Festival, Sunday, August 9, 12-5pm in Greenhill Park.

This is free and the biggest re-enactment in Sheffield.

We have booked this for years to come as we don’t want Sheffield to lose out of this fantastic event.

S Rich
