A COMMUNITY garden in a Sheffield village is back looking its best after 20 tonnes of landscaping topsoil were donated by Vinci Construction UK.

The company worked on the Memorial Hall garden project with the Worrall Community Association, with landscaping and seeding carried out by people serving probation orders.

Vinci project manager Craig McLackland said: “We strive to recycle material from all of our building works and to support a local project in the regeneration of Worrall has benefited all involved.”

Chair of Worrall Community Association Dr Mary Cooke added: “The community events held at the hall, and the annual gala and bonfire mean that we need a safe space for large numbers of the public.”
