Soft drinks giant offers chance to name own bottle

Have your say

A team of staff from soft drinks giant Coke will help Sheffield residents personalise bottles today.

The Share a Coke marketing ploy – where bottles of Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero have been branded with 250 names – has proved a hit across the country.

Sheffield shoppers can add their own names to bottles at a stall on The Moor from 10am to 4pm.

Sandra Barley, centre liaison manager for The Moor, said: “The idea of putting your name on a bottle of Coke really seems to have captured the public’s attention. This is part of our summer events programme, giving the public an opportunity to see the changes happening on The Moor.”
