Soccer match road warning
FOOTBALL fans planning to watch Sheffield Wednesday take on Birmingham City in Saturday's pre-season friendly are being warned of traffic problems in the north of the city.
The A61 from junction 36 of the M1 at Tankersley has temporary traffic lights in operation at its junction with the A629 while the road is repaired following flood damage.
Police say fans travelling to the game should expect significant delays and drivers are advised to find an alternative route or to allow extra time for their journey to the stadium.
Visiting coaches should follow police directions supplied via their local force's football liaison officer.
