Snow continues to disrupt bus services in Sheffield

Snow and ice are continuing to disrupt bus services across South Yorkshire this morning, with many roads still white.

Bus company First South Yorkshire has issued an updated list of services affected by the wintry weather:

1a to High Green - can now serve High Green, but missing Cottom Road and Fosters Way using Potter Hill Lane.

3/3a to Nether Edge - terminating in city centre (serving the Moor) also terminating at Firth Park.

3/3a to Meadowhall - all 3a services running as a number 3.

8/8a to Crystal Peaks - missing Basegreen and Birley, operating via Birley Moor Road in both directions.

10 to Doncaster - not operating around broadway, Balby or Markham in Edlington. In Bramley/Wickersley buses not operating along Church lane, Main street, Flanderwell lane, Fleming way, Markfield drive and Northfield lane due to ice.

13 to Bramley - Hellaby View closed.

18 to Meadowhall - diverted directly along Chesterfield Road to Bochum Parkway, Gleadless Townend and normal route to Meadowhall (Not serving Scarsdale Road, Hollythorpe or Heeley).

Diverted due to burst water pipe – Norton Lane, Bochum Parkway, Chesterfield Road.
