A DRIVER who was involved in a horrific car crash in Sheffield is still in a critical condition in hospital.
The 34-year-old man, who has not been named, is now ‘stable’ but doctors at the Northern General Hospital are still treating him as a ‘critical’ case.
He suffered multiple injuries during a four-car collision on Harbrough Avenue, Manor, at 1.30am on Sunday morning.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after Sunday’s collision.
Police believe the smash-up occurred after the 30-year-old’s blue Ford Mondeo overtook a red Vauxhall Corsa, driven by the 34-year-old.
A Vauxhall Vectra taxi and a parked silver Ford Mondeo car were also involved.
