Slip road closed on South Yorkshire motorway due to accident

A slip road on a South Yorkshire motorway is closed this morning, following an accident.

A Highways England spokesman said the southbound exit slip road on Junction 1 of the M18 at Bramley as a result of the collision, which took place earlier today.

Speaking on Twitter, the spokesman said: “We are dealing with an RTC (road traffic collision), the slip road is currently closed. TrafficOfficers are on scene and recovery is being arranged. Updates to follow.”
