Derbyshire’s Peak District woke up to a winter wonderland this morning - despite the fact that spring has officially sprung.
Daffodils could be seen poking out of the snow-covered greenery as lambs and sheep trudged through the scatterings in their fields.
Commuters braved the weather and drove their cars into Sheffield, many with snow still sprinkled on their roofs and bonnets.
Rain and hill snow is expected to clear slowly today and it will remain cloudy with a few showers likely.
It will be windy and feeling cool, with a maximum temperature of 9C.
Tonight, temperatures are set to drop as low as -2C meaning a frost is likely, particularly in rural spots.
Tomorrow will start off cold and bright with some sunny spells. Maximum temperature 10C.
