Once again there was a delicious range of food on offer, in the centre of the town for six hours.

The food fair filled the Market Place with around 25 stalls selling the best locally produced food.

All of the old favourites were there with everything from cheese and speciality ales, to sumptuous cakes and different breads.

Setting out their stalls were popular businesses including Axholme Brewery, Roe’s Dairy Ice Cream, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, Stonecrop Herbs and Fullers Bakery.

Music and street entertainment continued throughout the day and there was free parking throughout the town.

Coun Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “The food fair was yet another great event with visitors sampling some of the best local food direct from the producers.

“A fantastic event for food lovers and those just wanting to do something different on their day out. Music and street entertainment made for a great atmospheric feel to the fair.

“We will be hosting another food fair on Saturday November 29 and welcome people to attend.”

The food fairs in Epworth started back in 2012 and have quickly become established on the Isle events calendar as a firm favourite.
