SLIDESHOW: Epworth salon gives free haircuts to Doncaster's homeless
An Isle hair salon this week offered its services free of charge to brighten up the lives of the homeless.
Laura’s Hair Mechanics of Fountain Court invited members of The Wellness Centre in Doncaster to go along and enjoy cuts, colours and blow drys for nothing.
They also donated to the organisation’s food bank, and refreshments were provided on the day too.
Salon owner Laura Hughes said: “It was fantastic. What a lovely bunch of people we have met.
“Massive thank you to all who have donated food and Mojos for the bacon butties.
“Thank you to Kelly Hicks for bring everyone over. Also a massive thank you to all staff - Bethany Nightingale, Dannii Cooper and of course Marian for giving up your day off.”
