Take a closer look at Skyline Enterprises’ plans for the former Sheffield Ski Village in this gallery of newly-released images.
After years of rumours and false starts, the New Zealand-based developer in adventure tourism unveiled its plans to transform the ruined site on Parkwood Springs in August.
A public consultation opened on September 1 asking the public to share their views on plans ahead of planning permission being formally submitted later this year.
It came with four fresh computer-generated images of Skyline’s vision for the park, revealing for the first time what the view of Parkwood Springs could look like in a decade’s time.
This gallery takes a closer look at each feature in turn, with a ski slope, chair lift, karting experience, and something called ‘Beat The Storm’ all on the cards, along with infrastructure like car parks and a children’s play area.
