Singing in memory of choir's founder
A singing festival in memory of an amateur choir's founder returns this weekend.
Since 1980, the City of Sheffield Teachers’ Choir has held a festival as a tribute to David Clover, who was music advisor to the council’s education department. David, who died in 1979, led the choir for 11 years. The group has since widened its membership to non-teachers.
Concerts are at Dore & Totley United Reformed Church tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm, and on Saturday at 9.30am, 2.00pm and 6.15pm.

Hide AdOn Sunday the singing moves to Kenwood Hall for performances at 10am and 2pm, with the festival finals evening starting at 6.45pm.
