A CHARITY cause has become high fashion for customers of a South Yorkshire optician.

Martyn Kemp Opticians, which has 10 branches around the county and headquarters on Herries Road, Sheffield, sold 100 T-shirts in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind, raising £500.

The design was the winning competition entry created by customer Helen Frances who won £100 and a pair of prescription designer sunglasses.

Martyn said: “I would like to thank Helen and our staff for enabling MKO to support such a worthy association, whose wonderfully trained dogs work hard to help people whose sight is unfortunately impaired.”

He presented a cheque for the money raised to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
