A spokesman for the exhibition said: “The city’s business community has been instrumental to the success of Made in Sheffield, sharing their expertise with curators to help shape the exhibition and lending examples of some of their finest work to go on show as part of the diverse displays.

“Just as important though has been the generous sponsorship from local businesses which has enabled Museums Sheffield - the charity which runs the Millennium Gallery - to stage this truly fitting celebration of the city’s remarkable achievements.”

Sheffield company Jenx Ltd’s design manager, Simon Cooke, said: “Jenx are delighted to be supporting the Made in Sheffield exhibition – we’re very proud to manufacture our products in the city. It’s great to see the breadth of different manufacturing techniques and the wonderful products on show – we’re proud to see Jenx products exhibited alongside such fantastic makers.”

Louisa Harrison –Walker, managing director of Benchmark said: “Sponsoring the exhibition, and highlighting what the city has to offer, has been a fantastic way to celebrate Benchmark’s 10th birthday
