Shelter Sheffield launches new city service

A new service launched this week by Shelter Sheffield will allow the charity to support more people across the city than ever before.

Thanks to funding from Sheffield City Council, the Shelter service will be able to deliver tailored support to individuals and families in 700 households throughout Sheffield to prevent them from becoming homelessness. The funding will also enable those who have recently been made homeless to resettle into a new home, as well as helping those affected by issues such as domestic abuse.

It will also offer a range of programmes to help families keep a safe and stable home in the long term, including DIY skills, learning and employment training, budgeting and debt advice and IT classes.

Call Shelter Sheffield on 0344 515 1515.
