A major city centre has apologised after unexpectedly closing its doors to visitors this morning.

The Winter Gardens in Sheffield city centre said they are currently experiencing a 'power failure'.

As a result, the attraction is currently closed to visitors.

The attraction has apologised for the inconvenience and said they will notify visitors when it has reopened.

Norther Powergrid currently has no details of any power cuts in Sheffield city centre.
