Sheffield's Lord Mayor awards are '˜a true role model for the care industry'
Helen Ibottson revealed she was full of emotion when the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Coun Anne Murphy, paid her a surprise visit recently, to present her with an outstanding achievement award in front of the home’s manager Andrew Selwood, staff members and Roy Young, managing director of city-based Silver Healthcare, that operates the home.
The care worker has become a role model within the organisation for her attention to detail, exemplary care and positive attitude. She is now leaving the industry to set up in business with her sister.
