Danny Maddocks will take to the stage from 5pm until 7pm and will perform a mix of jazz, soul and pop classics.

Wrapping up the day’s entertainment, from 7pm until 9pm, is Crimes Against Taste, who will be bringing laughter to the day with their classical comedy cabaret act.

Nick Yates, from Leopold Square, said music fans are in for a great day out and urged the public to attend.

He added: “We were thrilled to be chosen as one of the venues for BBC Music Day as hosting local musicians is something we are renowned for. I look forward to welcoming everyone down and I hope our visitors enjoy the musical talents we have in store.”

BBC Music Day is described as a ‘celebration of music’ and there are around 40 live music events taking place across the UK.
