Sheffielders were tonight treated to another amazing spectacle as the city's sky turned stunning shades of red, yellow, pink, and orange.

The Met Office say the phenomenon happens when the sun travels through a much thicker atmosphere, scattering the blue light it contains and leaving more yellow and red light for us to see.
