Sheffield woman ‘UK’s most generous’ at tipping beauticians
Women in Sheffield leave an average tip of 6.4 per cent for their beauticians - the highest of any city in the UK and Ireland.
A survey by customer deal website LivingSocial questioned woman across 11 cities on a range of topics from treatments chosen, to tipping and booking preferences.
It not only revealed women in Sheffield are the most generous when it comes to tipping, but they also spend 8.2 per cent of their monthly disposable income on beauty treatments, with 58.8 percent of ladies attending a beauty appointment at least once every six weeks. The city’s women are also prepared to travel an average of 4.6 miles to visit their salon of choice.
