Sheffield woman rushed to hospital with neck injury
A 36-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital with a neck injury, following an incident that happened on a major Sheffield road last night.

The emergency services were called to The Wicker at around 7.30pm yesterday (July 28).
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said the woman remains in hospital, but her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
He added that the force has spoken with the woman, but it is not yet known how she came by her injuries. A police cordon was in place on a traffic island, near to where the woman was discovered by the emergency services, for several hours.
