Sheffield woman to cycle from London to Paris for children's charity

A Sheffield businesswoman will cycle from London to Paris to raise money for a children's charity.

Ros Harker, 46, from Norton, has set herself the challenge to support Early Education, a national charity that helps early years practitioners with training, resources and professional networks.

The charity also campaigns for quality education for the youngest children.

Ros is business manager at Playgarden, a Sheffield firm that provides bespoke playgrounds and fixed play equipment.

She said: “Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances.”

Ros will cycle the 299 miles between July 20 and 24.
