Sheffield woman, 92, injured in collision with minibus

A 92-year-old woman sustained injuries after being hit by a minibus in Sheffield.

The pedestrian was in collision with a blue Mercedes minibus in Herries Avenue, Longley, at 2.20pm yesterday (Thursday, July 16.)

It happened near to the junction of Langley Crescent, outside the entrance of St Leonard’s Church.

The elderly pedestrian, who is from Sheffield, is still being treated in hospital today.

Any witnesses are urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 635 of 16 July 2015.
