“We see Sheffield as a hub for wine outside of London”: Sheffield Wine Week returns with huge wine festival
Sheffield wine week is back in Crookes this summer
A five-day celebration of wine is set to return to Sheffield next month – with organisers promising more vendors, live entertainment and nearly 2,000 people at a huge outdoor festival in Crookes.
Now in its third year, Sheffield Wine Week will run from June 24 to June 28, bringing together bars, restaurants and wine retailers across the city for tastings, discounts, talks and special events.

Modelled on Californian wine fairs, the headline attraction will once again be Wine Week Fest at Bole Hills on Saturday, June 27, from 1pm-9pm.
Organisers say the festival has doubled in size this year, with more than 20 wine vendors confirmed.
Visitors can expect pay-as-you-go wine, food trucks, live music and family-friendly activities overlooking one of Sheffield’s best-known green spaces.
Each ticket also includes a complimentary Sheffield Wine Week tote bag packed with a premium plastic wine glass and other goodies.

Families will also have access to live music, crafting activities, face-painting, bubbles and a bouncy castle.
Organisers expect nearly 2,000 guests to attend the Bole Hills festival.
Despite Sheffield’s reputation for beer culture, organisers say the event has continued to grow year-on-year since launching in 2024.
Co-founder Mike Pomranz said: “For three years now, this event has been growing: getting over a thousand people to come together to drink wine in Crookes– it’s just the beginning.
“We really do see Sheffield as a British hub for wine outside of London.”
More than a dozen venues are already taking part across the city, including Tenaya, The Old Shoe, Elm, Hop Hideout and The Three Tuns.
Wine tents at the festival will include Vintners on the Brook, Alliance Wine, Ally Wines, Passione Vino, Tenaya Wine, Thorne Wines and Wanderlust, and more.
Food and drink traders will include Abbeydale Brewery, Cheese & Friends, Locksley Distillery and The Taco Trailer.
The first 500 adult tickets are being sold at an early bird price of £12.
Advance tickets after that will cost £15, while any remaining tickets on the gate will cost £18.
Under-18 tickets are priced at £4.50, while children under two can attend for free.
Many of the events during Sheffield Wine Week will be free to attend, although some will require tickets or advance booking.
Tickets for Wine Week Fest at Bole Hills are on sale now via the official Sheffield Wine Week website.
