The winger scored a sensational 30-yard volley in last Friday's 1-1 Hillsborough draw with Leeds United and will go looking for more in Wednesday night's home encounter against leaders West Bromwich Albion.

Reach already has three goals to his name this term for the 12th-placed Owls, just one shy of his mark in the entire 2017/2018 campaign.

"Under this manager, I seem to be in a good place and consistently playing more offensively now instead of switching to wing-back or full-back," said the 25-year-old.

"He sees me more as an offensive player and that suits me. I'm happy. Scoring is something I want to improve on.Â

"A little target of mine is to, first of all, beat four, then I can kick on and try and get more. I do think with the qualities that I have I should be scoring more goals."

Wednesday have two matches left - against the Baggies and away to Bristol City on Sunday - before the second international break of the season.Â

They have four points from their last two games and Reach is calling on them to keep that form going ahead of the next recess.

"Before the lastÂ break, we went on a good run and won three on the bounce," he said. "We want to do similar again. We want to tally up as many points as we can because then we will deserve a rest after a busy little period.Â

"We will be delighted if we can get the win on Wednesday. That's what we are concentrating on."

The Owls do battle without Barry Bannan

The dipping volley from wide on the right in last week's Yorkshire derby is already a contender for Owls Goal of the Season, although the player wishes it had led to victory.

"You always want to score a goal like that and be on the winning side," he said. "Obviously, that didn't happen on Friday.

"But with it being on TV, under the floodlights at Hillsborough and against Leeds, I will always remember it."

Reach won Championship Goal of the Month prize for November last season with a long-range effort at Aston Villa but gives his most recent strike a higher rating.

"The Leeds goal was probably better than the one at Villa," he said.
