Here's a look at where the Owls have sent the most players on loan and permanent moves in the last ten seasons...

Nicky Weaver joined Aberdeen on a free transfer after leaving Wednesday, and Mark Reynolds was loaned north of the border twice before signing permanently.
The Lions signed Mark Beevers (twice) on loan, and Stephen Bywater and Darren Purse on free transfers.

Chris O'Grady and Joe Wildsmith were sent on loan moves to Barnsley, while Adam Davies joined on a free transfer.
Preston signed Chris Kirkland, Marnick Vermijl and Stevie May from the Owls.
Frank Simek, Paul Corry, Gary Madine and Matt Young all joined Carlisle from spells at Wednesday.
Chris Maguire, Lewis Buxton, Joe Mattock and Lewis Price all joined the Millers after leaving Hillsborough.
Charlton signed Akpo Sodje, Deon Burton, Wade Small and Michael Morrisson from Wednesday.
Richard Wood, Reda Johnson, David Prutton, Chris Maguire and Gary Madine all left Hillsborough for the Ricoh Arena.
Richard O'Donnell, Cameron Dawson, Caolan Lavery, Luke Boden and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe all joined the Spireites from the Owls.
MK Dons signed Mark Beevers, Darren Potter, Clinton Morrison, Ryan Lowe, Chris Lines and Jon Otsemobor from Wednesday.
