Sam Hutchinson: The midfielder isn't 100 per cent and won't be considered for selection against Leeds United.

Fernando Forestieri: 'He is in good shape.' The attacker is in contention for a place in the squad after serving a three-match ban. 'We will make a decision on him later.'

Yorkshire derby 'We will give it 100 per cent. They are top of the league. We are strong at home with our fans behind us.'

Matt Penney: 'We see the progression. He is at the beginning of his young career. He's a cool boy. He has a very good character. He stays inside his shoes, not outside his shoes. What he has done is fantastic'

New deal for Penney: 'This is not the time for that. The focus has to be the games against Leeds, West Brom and Bristol City. Maybe in the international break we can think about that.'

Gary Cahill '˜move to Hillsborough' speculation: 'It's absolutely not possible for us. With all respect, I look not at players of that age. I look at players aged 19 to 23.'

More consistency: 'That's very important. We must have good organisation and take confidence from last week's win at Aston Villa.'

Climbing into the top six with a win over Leeds: 'That has to be the ambition.'

TOM LEES:

Leeds United: The table-toppers will be hurting from last week's defeat against Birmingham City and will be hungry to put it right at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday: The Owls are still nowhere near where they want to be. They're too inconsistent. They will be where they want to to be when they know they can turn up and guarantee a certain level of performance. 'Villa was good but it's only one game.'

The win at Aston Villa: 'The way we won takes a lot of bottle, coming off one of the worst displays of the season, at Nottingham Forest. He says the Owls can handle pressure.

Yorkshire derby: 'The Sheffield derby is the most important one, but this is next in line. I'm expecting the first 15 mijnutes to be frantic. But both teams play a technical game, so it could be a foreign-style game for a Yorkshire derby.'

Striker Steve Fletcher: 'I'm buzzing that he's scoring. He works so hard for the team. He can be a massive player for us. He can lead the team. The way we play, we need a frontman we can play the ball into.'

Beating Leeds: Says it would be a statement of intent and send out a message to the Championship. Usually at this time of year the Owls aren't this high in the table.

Matt Penney: Says he's a quiet young lad getting better and better. Often, young players dip after a couple of games, but that's not happening in this case. Says the youngster shows real maturity.
