In the first six games of the season, Dawson has made the second-highest number of saves in the league with 20.
He is tied with Rotherham United's Marek Rodak and West Brom's Sam Johnstone while Hull's David Marshall leads the pack with 22 saves so far.
Wednesday, who currently sit 11th in the Championship table, have conceded a total of nine goals so far this term, bringing Dawson's goals conceded rate to 1.58 goals per 90 minutes.
