Sheffield Wednesday's Gary Hooper is included amongst the names in the Championship's picks after an impressive month which saw the Owls striker hit the net twice, against Brighton and QPR. It will have been Hooper's all-round game which will have got him the nod though, after producing some terrific performances in October, not least his role in the 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.

In League One, unsurprisingly Sheffield United skipper Billy Sharp is on the shortlist and is sure to be well in contention to pick up the prize after firing in five goals in his last three games, including doubles against Shrewsbury Town and Bradford City. Sharp also scored the winner in Saturday's victory over MK Dons at Bramall Lane.

In League Two, Doncaster Rovers' Andy Williams is among the contenders with two goals earlier in the month against Portsmouth and Barnet, though he hasn't featured since that win over the Bees, due to injury.

The vote for the Championship takes place on Wednesday, League One's is on Thursday and League Tow's vote is on Friday.
