“There will be no surprises on both sides,” said Huddersfield boss Wagner. “We are totally aware about Sheffield Wednesday, about Carlos’s side and his ideas. The details will be what makes the difference, concentration being very, very important along with our focus on ourselves.”

Wagner thinks the Terriers have got nothing to lose against Wednesday. Huddersfield have not played in the top-flight of English football since 1972.

He said: “We are the underdogs. Sheffield are the big, big favourites, everybody knows how much money they spent and what they have done in the last two years.

“They were consistently on a high level but I think we were underdogs over the whole season. We are used to this role and it doesn’t change our ambitions. We play in this semi-final to come into the final. We will try our best, we will prepare as good as we can. The pressure is for sure not on us on Sunday.”
