Numbers three, four and six have also not been filled, with boss Carlos Carvalhal having already made it clear he wants to bring in a new left-back and centre-back.

Summer signings Steven Fletcher, Almen Abdi, Jake Kean and Daniel Pudil will wear numbers six, seven, 34 and 36 respectively. Kean takes over from the departed Lewis Price while fellow shot-stopper Joe Wildsmith has bizarrely been given two.
