The Wednesday midfielder has been in a rich vein of form, playing a key role in the team losing just one of their last nine league matches.

Reach has already notched four goals, equalling his tally for the whole of last season, and scored a spectacular volley in home draw to Leeds United.

Dwight Gayle, Bradley Dack, Neal Maupay, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper have also been shortlisted for the prize.
