The Owls star had limped off in Saturday's 3-0 win over Leeds United as a result of an ongoing knee problem picked up at the beginning of the season.

Hunt traveled to London to see a specialist and on Thursday night revealed on twitter that there was 'no major damage' and that he should be available in a few weeks.

Hunt tweeted: "Amazing news on the injury yesterday whilst in London. Will be back in the next few weeks and no major damage to my knee."

The right back has been in good form this season, despite the injury suffered in the opening day defeat to Preston and he has played through the pain since that game.

However, his knee flared up again on Sunday and he was taken off in the 39th minute and replaced by Liam Palmer who will be expected to deputise while Hunt recovers fully.
